The nomination must demonstrate the nominees’ ongoing service in the Ethiopian and Eritrean community, incorporating the below characteristics. In addition, please describe how the nominee has met each of the below features. Nomination will be open until August 20, 2023. The 2023 Flame Award event is scheduled for September 16, 2023.
የጽናት ፍሌም አዋርድ በኢትዮጵያውያን ማህበረሰብ ውስጥ የተለያየ የአካል እክል ያለባቸውን ሰዎችን ሕይወት ለማሻሻል ከፍተኛ አስተዋጽኦ ያደረጉ ወገኖችን እየመረጥን በዓመት አንድ ጊዜ እውቅና እንሰጣለን፡፡ በዚህ ፕሮግራም ሕብረተሰቡን በመሰብሰብ አንድ ኮንፍረንስ እናዘጋጃለን፡፡
A. Leadership: An individual who makes significant contributions to building a sense of unity and purpose in families of special needs in the Ethiopian community. The nominee should have a demonstrated ability to build stronger communities by promoting personal growth and development.
B. Social Responsibility: An individual who assists others in improving Ethiopian disabled communities through volunteer programs, social groups, outreach centers, sports programs or after school groups.
C. Mentorship: An individual who demonstrates positive values and behaviors that influence others in Ethiopian disabled community. The nominee should have examples of instances during which they have mentored community members in a positive way.
D. Change Agent: An individual who influences or stimulates disabled individuals in Ethiopian community to effect positive changes through personal development or self-improvement. The nominee should have demonstrated their role as a change agent.
3. Reward Type
Individual winners will receive a cash donation to a 501(c)3 charity of their choice. A winner will also be invited to the September 16, 2023 Tsinat Institute annual banquet for public recognition.
